The aircraft was deiced by ramp personnel prior to the [our] arrival. We had two inches of snow the night before. This was our second aircraft due to a mechanical on the original aircraft. Bwi uses a type 1 fluid known as 'eco boost'. It left a film on the windscreen that got worse as the flight progressed. Upon landing north with the sun off to our east; we had very limited visibility through both the captain's and first officer's windshields. The windshield wipers were never used at any time during the flight. Dispatch and the chief pilot were notified upon landing.
