Narrative:

This was declared an emergency landing (due to flap/slats failure) by the pilots. They called to notify the other flight attendant and myself. We were instructed to follow all normal procedures for landing. The captain made an announcement over the PA to the passengers to notify them of what was happening. Honestly; if I hadn't been notified of the 'event;' I wouldn't have even known the difference in the landing. It was just a little fast. There were no passenger complaints or injuries. They all clapped at the ending of the safe landing. This was a minor incident. I did all duties as I would normally have completed them. There are no conflicts or problems to report.
