Narrative:

While crossing the allegheny river near millvale at 2;000 ft MSL; I noticed a helicopter in my peripheral vision at my altitude and heading directly for me on a collision course. I took evasive action by climbing abruptly. The helicopter which appeared to be a military attack helicopter such as an ah-64 did not appear to make any adjustments to his course or altitude and passed directly under me at less than 50 ft. He had not made any transmissions on 123.025 and I had not received TCAS alerts on his position. I had all position lights; strobe lights; and skid landing lights on.the subject aircraft had apparently departed agc and had been given traffic alerts by agc tower. Maybe tower could advise transient aircraft to monitor downtown common on 123.025 when leaving their control.
