Narrative:

Preflight prep before flight showed no notams about the temporary tower; flew the GPS runway 23 approach; used the cgz unicom of 122.7 and did not receive any notification of the tower being active. The AWOS was not reporting as an ATIS nor mentioned the temporary tower in effect. Another aircraft called to see if the tower was active and no response was heard. We double checked the notams in flight through our dispatcher; and again when we got back. Again; nothing was published about the tower. We even called flight service to verify and they reported no notams about the tower at cgz.

Title: PA28 flight instructor landed at CGZ anonly to discover a temporary Tower had been set up in preparation for an airshow. Information concerning the temporary Tower was not disseminated via NOTAMs; AWOS; or UNICOM.

Narrative: Preflight prep before flight showed no NOTAMs about the temporary Tower; flew the GPS Runway 23 Approach; used the CGZ UNICOM of 122.7 and did not receive any notification of the Tower being active.
