Narrative:

Cleared direct archi intersection to join FMS bridge RNAV final; descending to 11;000. ATC called traffic at our 10:00 at 11;000 ft. They said they were not talking to the traffic. Next gave us a clearance to turn 25 left. As we turned we got a 'traffic traffic'; TA and we were approximately 11;300 descending. The turn aimed us directly at the target. We next got a monitor vertical speed RA; which lasted 2 seconds then got the climb RA. Informed ATC; climbed to around 11;800; got clear of traffic TA; then direct archi descend to 8;000. Nothing more said. System worked as advertised. ATC should have stopped our descent at 12;000 would be my guess.
