Narrative:

[General electric cf-34-3b1] engine received from contract vendor with full qec (quick engine change) serviceable tag. Visual inspection revealed T/right (thrust reverser) had sufficient defects that warranted the T/right to be removed for correction of defects. It was replaced with a serviceable T/right in order to maintain the scheduled engine replacement. Refer to work order XXX for discrepancies noted prior to T/right replacement. Also refer to work order YYY for the '33' defects noted on the T/right. Individuals listed on report were involved with activity for this engine.continued occurrence of defects from this particular vendor has not been rectified. Within the process of returning qec components to service; there are inspection requirements on specific job cards that should have been accomplished that would prevent these defects to be found during the process of making the engine ready to install. Quality oversight continues to be a process that should be enforced.
