Narrative:
The ground handler in ZZZZ provided a set of eight numbers that were described as the total weight of each of the eight pallets in pounds. My captain received a message the next day that these were uld numbers or pallet numbers instead of the weight. He was emailed a photocopy of the document. The document that I had seen previously looked nothing like this document that was sent to my company. After reworking the weight and balance out with the correct numbers; the weight was 20;000 pounds lighter and the C/G moved aft; both of which where still within limits.
