Narrative:
[We were] departing sjc airport via loupe 1 departure. Flying the departure in navigation mode; leaving approx 2;200 ft MSL; and aircraft accelerated to program 250 KTS in accordance with the nadp 2 departure profile. ATC controller requested that we tighten turn; and then reminded us of the 200 KT limit below class B (sfo) airspace. I had apparently confused the airspace diagram for sjc class C airspace with the class B airspace lying above sjc. I slowed aircraft as much as possible in the next few moments; and we leveled at 5;000 ft per the departure. ATC did not advise of any traffic conflict or problems. Further review of the departure charts revealed the possible confusion. I have reviewed the info and annotated charts to clearly show the limits of the class B airspace and airspeed limits associated to prevent further confusion.
