Narrative:

Widebody transport X was a phl departure climbing southbound, issued clearance to 17000'. Mdt Y a turboprop eastbound over ewo at 17000'. I expected widebody transport X to be out in front of the turboprop and also planned to have widebody transport X well above mdt Y. The sector became inundated with traffic and I was extremely busy affecting coordination. When I got back to the situation, it was necessary for me to expedite widebody transport X's climb and descend and turn mdt Y.
