Narrative:
While flying support for oil spill response efforts I experienced a near miss with another helicopter. While flying at 700 ft and leveling from a left hand orbit to a northerly heading; a helicopter passed by from right to left approximately 150 ft above and 150 ft ahead at a 12 o'clock position. No evasive move was necessary.

Title: A Bell 206 Pilot reported a NMAC with another helicopter near a heliport while flying in support of the Gulf oil spill.
Narrative: While flying support for oil spill response efforts I experienced a near miss with another helicopter. While flying at 700 FT and leveling from a left hand orbit to a northerly heading; a helicopter passed by from right to left approximately 150 FT above and 150 FT ahead at a 12 o'clock position. No evasive move was necessary.
