Narrative:

Contacted ramp control and was told to taxi to spot 6. Contacted ground control #1 at spot 6 and was told to taxi to runway 20R. Misunderstood and proceeded to taxi runway 2R and xed runway 31 to get there. Traffic was light at the time. No one was landing or taking off and runway 31 and 13 was clear of all traffic. After crossing runway 31 realized that we had been taxiing to the wrong runway. Ground control said it was ok because there was no conflict, then proceeded to give directions to runway 20R. Just before we landed on runway 2L and while taxiing out, noticed aircraft landing on runway 2L. Usually if taken out at T6 means runway 31 2L or right will be used. To use runway 20R, taken out off ramp area at T2 or T1. Running behind schedule and trying to get out as quickly as possible led to the confusion.

Title: TAXIED ACROSS ACTIVE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC. NO CONFLICT.

Narrative: CONTACTED RAMP CONTROL AND WAS TOLD TO TAXI TO SPOT 6. CONTACTED GND CTL #1 AT SPOT 6 AND WAS TOLD TO TAXI TO RWY 20R. MISUNDERSTOOD AND PROCEEDED TO TAXI RWY 2R AND XED RWY 31 TO GET THERE. TFC WAS LIGHT AT THE TIME. NO ONE WAS LNDG OR TAKING OFF AND RWY 31 AND 13 WAS CLR OF ALL TFC. AFTER XING RWY 31 REALIZED THAT WE HAD BEEN TAXIING TO THE WRONG RWY. GND CTL SAID IT WAS OK BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CONFLICT, THEN PROCEEDED TO GIVE DIRECTIONS TO RWY 20R. JUST BEFORE WE LANDED ON RWY 2L AND WHILE TAXIING OUT, NOTICED ACFT LNDG ON RWY 2L. USUALLY IF TAKEN OUT AT T6 MEANS RWY 31 2L OR R WILL BE USED. TO USE RWY 20R, TAKEN OUT OFF RAMP AREA AT T2 OR T1. RUNNING BEHIND SCHEDULE AND TRYING TO GET OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE LED TO THE CONFUSION.
