Narrative:

Filed for: .....J2 jct dct llo KALLA2 aus. Clearance delivery issued: .....J2 fst as filed. As a result; I mistakenly entered direct to llo after fst into the FMS.my recommendation: if there is no difference between filed and cleared routing; (as in this case) clearance delivery should issue the clearance exactly as filed. Although these two clearances are the same route; I entered it incorrectly due to time pressures to depart on time and unfamiliarity with the routing.

Title: An ATC cleared route appeared to differ from the filed route of a CRJ900 Flight Crew. The routes were; in fact; identical but the confusion caused the Captain to mis-program the FMS and a track deviation occurred.

Narrative: Filed for: .....J2 JCT DCT LLO KALLA2 AUS. Clearance delivery issued: .....J2 FST As Filed. As a result; I mistakenly entered direct to LLO after FST into the FMS.My recommendation: If there is NO DIFFERENCE between filed and cleared routing; (as in this case) clearance delivery should issue the clearance exactly as filed.
