Narrative:

Near top of climb first officer noticed low oil quantity and low oil pressure for left engine. [We] diverted to nearest suitable airport. Oil pressure remained in yellow (about 20 psi) with no low oil press light. Oil temp remained steady at 110. Finally fairly close to diversion airport we got the low oil press light and shut down engine in accordance with QRH procedures. Declared emergency [and] landed without further issue.
