I am a pilot who elected to work during the strike. Since that time I have become accustomed to harassment and insidious forms of terrorism. Recently a friend of mine who struck, advised me that 'someone' had submitted a report to your agency regarding me. I was told that your agency was advised that as captain, I was preparing for an upcoming proficiency check in april of 88 by shutting down (off) engine (south) in flight with passengers aboard to practice engine(south) out apches and lndgs. Assuming that report was filed with you this letter is simply to advise you that the report is not true. The only reason I am submitting this disclaimer is because I feel strongly about the goals of your agency and do not want to see your data undermined and distorted by lies. Since 'privacy' is the watchword of such reports, and since I strongly support that avenue, I can only submit this rejoinder for your thoughtful consideration.
