While descending to 13;000 ft; ATC reported an unverified target at our 12 o'clock. While looking for a visual; we received a TCAS RA and initiated a climb. According to TCAS; we passed above the target with 200 ft of separation.

Narrative: While descending to 13;000 FT; ATC reported an unverified target at our 12 o'clock. While looking for a visual; we received a TCAS RA and initiated a climb. According to TCAS; we passed above the target with 200 FT of separation.
