Narrative:

On downwind we received an anti-ice duct warning message. We reviewed the QRH which required us to leave icing conditions. That was an unsafe option for us (icing conditions above FL230 and the nearest suitable alternate was thirty minutes away). Obviously the correct thing to do was to continue the approach. This procedure in the QRH must be addressed. It assumes you will leave icing conditions; which in our case was impractical and dangerous. It would be helpful if there were a line that would take a pilot in my situation to the ice dispersal procedure.
