Narrative:

On final approach to runway 9L; we lowered flaps from 20 to 25 degrees and received an EICAS message stating 'le flap asymmetry.' we initiated a go-around and declared an emergency. We accomplished the QRH procedure and elected to land on the longer runway 9R. We did so without further incident.

Title: A B767-300 EICAS annunciated a LE FLAP ASYMMETRY as flaps 25 was selected on final approach. A go around was executed; an emergency declared and a normal landing followed.
