Narrative:

The aircraft was flight planned and operated into rvsm airspace even though the aircraft had never been approved for such operation. I was made aware of this problem after I had landed the aircraft. The flight was uneventful and there were no conflicts with other traffic. I was advised and the company has now posted the fact that the aircraft was not supposed to be operated above fl 280. I have learned that the books for rvsm approval have been submitted but not yet approved. I will stay alert to the problem and will not operate again above fl 280 until I have seen the approved op specs for the aircraft.
