Narrative:

Upon reaching final approach we put the gear down and the gear handle light and 3 red gear door light illuminated. We executed a go-around. Conferred with dispatch and maintenance through operations and proceeded to go through the manual gear extension. The gear was extended and we went back to the airport for an uneventful landing.

Title: A Dash 8-100 Captain reported unable to lower landing gear on approach. After conference with Dispatch and Maintenance they were able to manually extend the gear and land without incident.

Narrative: Upon reaching final approach we put the gear down and the gear handle light and 3 red gear door light illuminated. We executed a go-around.
