Narrative:

After entering flight plan into mcdu fuel efob flashed red 3.9. After entering planned winds and descent profile on the planned STAR efob came up to 4.9. I felt this was still very low. Contacted dispatch and was told 'it was my aircraft but that the company was tracking all pilots that added fuel'. Even after that threat I elected to add 2000 pounds of fuel above flight release management has a tight fuel policy. Dispatch needs to provide a real world flight plan.
