Narrative:
While on final approach to runway 22L at jfk; the aircraft encountered possible wake turbulence and gusty winds which resulted in a momentary flap 20 overspeed condition. The event was very short in duration; which made it difficult to identify; verify; or communicate to the rest of the crew.

Title: B757 Relief Pilot reports turbulence or possible wake encounter at 2000 FT during approach to JFK. A momentary flap overspeed occurred.
Narrative: While on final approach to Runway 22L at JFK; the aircraft encountered possible wake turbulence and gusty winds which resulted in a momentary Flap 20 overspeed condition. The event was very short in duration; which made it difficult to identify; verify; or communicate to the rest of the crew.
