Narrative:

Right main gear did not retract, diverted to mia. Required emergency equipment to standby in event of gear collapse. Normal landing made. Supplemental information from acn 85225: believe problem caused by uplock failure. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: the aircraft type and the captain was getting IOE in aircraft. Gear would not stay up when gear handle returned to neutral position. Gear warning lights would show both green and red at the same time. Maintenance action was to replace the up latch.

Narrative: RIGHT MAIN GEAR DID NOT RETRACT, DIVERTED TO MIA. REQUIRED EMER EQUIP TO STANDBY IN EVENT OF GEAR COLLAPSE. NORMAL LNDG MADE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 85225: BELIEVE PROB CAUSED BY UPLOCK FAILURE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: THE ACFT TYPE AND THE CAPT WAS GETTING IOE IN ACFT. GEAR WOULD NOT STAY UP WHEN GEAR HANDLE RETURNED TO NEUTRAL POS. GEAR WARNING LIGHTS WOULD SHOW BOTH GREEN AND RED AT THE SAME TIME. MAINT ACTION WAS TO REPLACE THE UP LATCH.
