Inbound crew wrote up forward entry door hard to open. Mechanic shows up and is very unhappy with condition of door. Cannot find source of difficulty with door. Cites the interior door handle is loose; door does not grab gust lock properly; mechanism appears to be binding inside of door. Mechanic starts thinking there might be a problem with hinge alignment. Says aircraft will probably go out of service but needs a supervisor to approve. We wait about 25 minutes for supervisor. When no one shows up; I refuse airplane.
