Narrative:

Approximately 1.5 hours into flight the whole aircraft experienced a very strong odor; smelling electrical. There was also a light haze through the entire cabin. I notified the cockpit immediately. They had already smelled the odor. I then got the test information; and the cabin crew began the emergency checklist up to the brace position; as the captain did not feel an evacuation was going to be necessary. We landed safely and without incident. We then waited 6 hours for another aircraft and proceeded with the passenger to destination. I want to commend my entire crew for a job well done! Thank you to the cockpit for getting us on the ground quickly and safely! And also commend and thank the entire ground staff for their incredible handling of this very difficult situation! They were amazing! They took such good care of the passengers and crew.
