Narrative:

Departed 9L in atl on the thrsr five departure using 'RNAV off the ground' procedures. Speed mode and navigation mode were selected and autopilot was engaged. Autopilot did not follow the FMS course; but stayed on runway heading. Pilot flying disengaged autopilot and returned to the correct course. ATC commented on the late turn but stated no traffic conflicts resulted from the deviation. No further issues.

Narrative: Departed 9L in ATL on the THRSR FIVE departure using 'RNAV off the ground' procedures. Speed mode and NAV mode were selected and autopilot was engaged.
