Narrative:
While climbing out at 14;000 ft; an intermittent low oil pressure indication was present and I decided to return. At the start of the descent; the warning became continuous; and I called for QRH for low oil pressure and shutdown of #2 engine. An emergency was declared at this point and we landed in VMC. Here's why there's a safety issue related to this event: this aircraft had two air interrupts a month earlier; an air interrupt with engine shutdown on my flight; an air interrupt with an engine shutdown the next day; and an air interrupt with an engine shutdown the day after that. All related to #2 engine low oil pressure.
