Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff we received a baggage door open indication light associated with a pressure bump. Operations manual was complied with and we returned to departure airport. Ground crew found cargo door closed but not secured. Cargo door was closed and secured; dispatch notified; new release printed; fuel brought up to total fuel; and notification message was sent to operations. Flight was redispatched and flown without further incident.

Title: AN EMB145 FLT CREW EXPERIENCED A BAGGAGE DOOR WARNING LIGHT AND PRESSURE BUMP AFTER TAKEOFF. THEY RETURNED TO DEP ARPT AND FOUND DOOR CLOSED BUT NOT SECURED.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TKOF WE RECEIVED A BAGGAGE DOOR OPEN INDICATION LIGHT ASSOCIATED WITH A PRESSURE BUMP. OPS MANUAL WAS COMPLIED WITH AND WE RETURNED TO DEP ARPT. GND CREW FOUND CARGO DOOR CLOSED BUT NOT SECURED. CARGO DOOR WAS CLOSED AND SECURED; DISPATCH NOTIFIED; NEW RELEASE PRINTED; FUEL BROUGHT UP TO TOTAL FUEL; AND NOTIFICATION MESSAGE WAS SENT TO OPS. FLT WAS REDISPATCHED AND FLOWN WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
