Narrative:

After landing on runway 4R; ATC instructed us to 'turn left on taxiway K; hold short of runway 8L.' at this intersection; more than one runway intersects taxiway K. Due to the confusing intersection we rolled over the hold short line of runway 8L; at which point ATC instructed us to stop and ordered an air carrier to go around. We halted; the aircraft went around and were then instructed to cross runway 8L and contact ground on the other side. Ground control instructed us to taxi to the gate and gave us a phone number to call after we reached the gate; which we did. There are 2 sets of hold short lines on taxiway K; and these lines are 2 ft apart (my best guess). It is physically impossible to exit one runway without still being on another runway at this intersection. Instinctively when told to turn left; I thought he wanted us off the runway (runway 4R); when all that he needed was us to not be on the other active runway (runway 8L).
