Narrative:
Shortly after leveloff at FL410; we experienced total radio failure. This event then became an intermittent failure where we could not transmit or receive. Additionally; neither radio would communication test. This problem followed us all the way to ZZZ for landing. Cleared to land by approach when one of our radios came back for a few minutes. Maintenance suspects radio electronics failure (reu).
