Narrative:
This is to point out a problem with the new efbs. Right after landing on runway 1C; we needed to taxi to the east side of the airport. While starting our taxi; our efb battery went dead; therefore; I lost our airport chart. We have 2 efbs; but by the time I got the other efb up we would be at the ramp. The controller was busy; so I hated to ask for progressive. My recommendation to crews is -- always print the charts you will need for the day.
