Narrative:

The night was a normal night; my friday. Lead mechanic gave us the workload. I volunteered for the job so myself and fellow amt performed the task of CSD and generator change on the right engine. All tasks were done per the maintenance manual; aircraft was pulled outside in front of hangar for run; leak and operational check. I was in the cockpit in the right seat and another fellow amt was in the left seat. On the ground; was the amt who assisted me in changing the components. Everything went fine with the leak and operational check. We signed off the work and that was the last I heard until I received the letter today. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that after the CSD was changed; the two-engine md-80 departed for an international trip when the right engine CSD oil light started flickering again. The idg (CSD) was deferred and released for the return flight to a domestic station; where company maintenance did some troubleshooting and found a loose 'B' nut on one of the oil lines to the CSD oil cooler. After tightening all the 'B' nuts for the oil cooler lines; servicing the CSD with oil; performing an engine run and leak check; no further problems were noted.
