Narrative:

O2/fri/88 WX XA10Z west 9X isf 14/11 bs 1/2 V 1-1/2. Taxied to delta via romeo taxiway (not shown on current commercial chart plates). Thought we were on taxiway whiskey, controller also thought so and said to go straight ahead and left on alpha taxiway. Romeo took us into mud off taxiway delta. There were many taxi lights missing from taxiway delta and taxiway romeo isn't pictured on commercial charts. Corrective action: 1) fix commercial chart plates to show romeo taxiway, 2) repair missing taxiway lights on taxiway delta (grr)

Narrative: O2/FRI/88 WX XA10Z W 9X ISF 14/11 BS 1/2 V 1-1/2. TAXIED TO DELTA VIA ROMEO TXWY (NOT SHOWN ON CURRENT COMMERCIAL CHART PLATES). THOUGHT WE WERE ON TXWY WHISKEY, CTLR ALSO THOUGHT SO AND SAID TO GO STRAIGHT AHEAD AND L ON ALPHA TXWY. ROMEO TOOK US INTO MUD OFF TXWY DELTA. THERE WERE MANY TAXI LIGHTS MISSING FROM TXWY DELTA AND TXWY ROMEO ISN'T PICTURED ON COMMERCIAL CHARTS. CORRECTIVE ACTION: 1) FIX COMMERCIAL CHART PLATES TO SHOW ROMEO TXWY, 2) REPAIR MISSING TXWY LIGHTS ON TXWY DELTA (GRR)
