Replaced left transponder part number xyz with transponder part number yxz. I transposed the Y and the X causing the error. I found the error after departure and reported it to line maintenance supervisor.

Title: MECHANIC REALIZES AFTER A B767-300 HAD DEPARTED; THAT HE REPLACED THE LEFT TRANSPONDER WITH A TRANSPONDER HAVING A DIFFERENT NUMBER. MECHANIC HAD TRANSPOSED NUMBERS; CAUSING THE ERROR.
Narrative: REPLACED L XPONDER PART NUMBER XYZ WITH XPONDER PART NUMBER YXZ. I TRANSPOSED THE Y AND THE X CAUSING THE ERROR. I FOUND THE ERROR AFTER DEP AND RPTED IT TO LINE MAINT SUPVR.
