Narrative:

During climb out the left hydraulic low pressure light illuminated with associated EICAS message. During the discussion of the problem we failed to reset our altimeters going through 18000 ft. After leveloff at FL330; center called and said our altitude was off by 400 ft. We then reset our altimeters. We failed to finish the climb checklist due to our distraction with the hydraulic problem leading to the failure to reset our altimeters going through 18000 ft.
