Narrative:
On approach for landing runway; when captain asked for flaps 20 degrees; flaps did not respond and trailing edge flap disagreement light illuminated on EICAS. We ran the checklist; and with alternate method; extended both the flaps to 20 degrees. We then landed uneventfully.

Narrative: ON APCH FOR LNDG RWY; WHEN CAPT ASKED FOR FLAPS 20 DEGS; FLAPS DID NOT RESPOND AND TRAILING EDGE FLAP DISAGREEMENT LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON EICAS. WE RAN THE CHKLIST; AND WITH ALTERNATE METHOD; EXTENDED BOTH THE FLAPS TO 20 DEGS. WE THEN LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.
