Narrative:
Doing training overhead ZZZ. Intentionally feathered left engine. Would not restart after 3 attempts. Determined safest course of action was to land and then troubleshoot. Found nothing wrong with engine. Possible fuel flooding uncowled; inspected; cowled restarted. Run-up in accordance with maintenance manual. No defects found.

Title: A PA-44 PILOT SHUT DOWN AN ENGINE FOR TRAINING BUT IT WOULD NOT RESTART. PILOT LANDED AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE ENGINE ON THE GROUND.
Narrative: DOING TRAINING OVERHEAD ZZZ. INTENTIONALLY FEATHERED L ENG. WOULD NOT RESTART AFTER 3 ATTEMPTS. DETERMINED SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO LAND AND THEN TROUBLESHOOT.
