Narrative:

At gate with 1 engine running; parking brake set; good pressure on triple indicator; the aircraft started to move. Rudder pedal brake pressure was applied and maintained until aircraft chocked and both engines shut down. We started rolling toward terminal. Parking brake system failure. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter confirmed that the ECAM message 'parking brake on' was displayed when the aircraft rolled. Maintenance action to remedy this fault is not known to the reporter.

Title: A320 CAPT REPORTS PARKING BRAKE FAILURE AT GATE WITH ONE ENGINE RUNNING.

Narrative: AT GATE WITH 1 ENG RUNNING; PARKING BRAKE SET; GOOD PRESSURE ON TRIPLE INDICATOR; THE ACFT STARTED TO MOVE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE REPORTER CONFIRMED THAT THE ECAM MESSAGE 'PARKING BRAKE ON' WAS DISPLAYED WHEN THE ACFT ROLLED. MAINTENANCE ACTION TO REMEDY THIS FAULT IS NOT KNOWN TO THE REPORTER.
