Narrative:

I was notified that I had a controller deviation. On the day in question; I had just relieved another controller on local control. I had been on break. The controller briefed me that while I was gone; pwk had changed to runway 16 from runway 34. While working the position; I got 2 releases off runway 16. I then coordination a release off runway 34; even though the aircraft was departing runway 16. I got the release; but did not realize that I had said off runway 34. I then cleared the aircraft off runway 16 via the pwk 2 departure to the assigned released heading.
