Narrative:

Nose gear collapsed after landing rollout causing propeller strike. Possible causes: 1) battery was dead prior to departure requiring jump; aircraft idled 25 mins waiting for clearance; nose gear may not have locked because of insufficient battery power although 3 green were observed. 2) gear lever was observed in up position by airport personnel during aircraft removal from runway. PIC has no recollection of moving gear lever after landing. Lever could have been moved after nose collapsed. 3) gear lever could have been moved in error instead of raising flap lever.

Title: BE33 PILOT REPORTS NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE DURING LANDING ROLL OUT.

Narrative: NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER LNDG ROLLOUT CAUSING PROP STRIKE. POSSIBLE CAUSES: 1) BATTERY WAS DEAD PRIOR TO DEP REQUIRING JUMP; ACFT IDLED 25 MINS WAITING FOR CLRNC; NOSE GEAR MAY NOT HAVE LOCKED BECAUSE OF INSUFFICIENT BATTERY PWR ALTHOUGH 3 GREEN WERE OBSERVED. 2) GEAR LEVER WAS OBSERVED IN UP POS BY ARPT PERSONNEL DURING ACFT REMOVAL FROM RWY. PIC HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF MOVING GEAR LEVER AFTER LNDG. LEVER COULD HAVE BEEN MOVED AFTER NOSE COLLAPSED. 3) GEAR LEVER COULD HAVE BEEN MOVED IN ERROR INSTEAD OF RAISING FLAP LEVER.
