Narrative:

I called tower 15 mi to the east for landing with information kilo. Was told to expect runway 26. As requested by tower; I reported 3 mi final to runway 26. Plane diverted slightly below glidepath (possibly due to windshear/gust -- WX was VFR but twring cumulus were in the area). I applied some power to return to glidepath but engine would not generate power. I applied full throttle and the electric boost fuel pump -- still no power. I called no power situation in to tower. Landed 1/2 to 3/4 mi short of runway 26.
