Narrative:
Diverted into ZZZ and had subsequent overweight landing. This diversion due to flight being under-svced with potable water in ZZZ. Flight ran out of water approximately 6 hours into a 12 hour flight. Landing was approximately 10000 pounds over maximum landing weight. Touchdown was smooth. Aircraft was inspected by maintenance and released. Flight continued to destination approximately 3 hours late.

Title: A B777 DIVERTED TO AN OVERWEIGHT LNDG AFTER WATER RAN OUT WITH 6 HOURS OF FLT TIME REMAINING. ACR POLICY TO LIGHTEN ACFT MEANS LESS WATER IS LOADED.
Narrative: DIVERTED INTO ZZZ AND HAD SUBSEQUENT OVERWT LNDG. THIS DIVERSION DUE TO FLT BEING UNDER-SVCED WITH POTABLE WATER IN ZZZ. FLT RAN OUT OF WATER APPROX 6 HRS INTO A 12 HR FLT. LNDG WAS APPROX 10000 LBS OVER MAX LNDG WT. TOUCHDOWN WAS SMOOTH. ACFT WAS INSPECTED BY MAINT AND RELEASED. FLT CONTINUED TO DEST APPROX 3 HRS LATE.
