Narrative:

I cleared MEL 38-2B by removing the r-hand aft lavatory toilet shroud and looking for a leak. I found evidence of blue juice on the top of the lavatory tank and below in the pan. Also; there was evidence of blue juice splashing up onto the outboard wall. I cleaned the fluid from the pan and flushed the lavatory 20 times. No leaks were found. I installed the shroud and cleared the MEL. I was unaware there was a conditional inspection. When I notified maintenance control upon clearing the MEL; I was not informed there was a conditional inspection. Also; my lead never notified me that there was a conditional inspection.
