Narrative:
I was told to perform a new torqueing procedure on a propeller without an updated maintenance revision in the engine shop. Mr X; mr Y; and mr Z were present during the set-up of this procedure. I had called the manufacturer field representative for information; and he strongly recommended that this procedure not be carried out until the proper tooling became available. I feel company is trying to complete this procedure too soon without the proper tooling and without an updated maintenance manual. I was extremely pressured before the current revision was provided.
