Narrative:

The captain was the PF and I was the PNF. We were on the dumpy 2 alexandria (aex) transition. We were given a clearance to cross yeagr at 9000 ft. The captain started down. Approximately 3-5 mins from the fix; I recalculated the descent and noticed it was going to be hard to make yeagr and 9000 ft and have slowed to 250 KTS. I questioned the captain and he responded not to worry about it. As we approached 10000 ft and he continued through 10000 ft; I questioned the captain about his +300 KT airspeed. He again responded don't worry about it. He crossed yeagr about 9300 ft and still well above the 250 KT restr. This entire event was caused by the captain refusing input from the crew and thinking he can do anything.
