Narrative:

My IFR clearance from iza to ZZZ included an obstacle departure procedure that called for a climb to 6000 ft via rzs VOR R-275 west to orcut intersection. I intercepted rzs VOR 275 degree radial and turned east to rzs in VMC; which was the first intersection in my filed flight plan. I received my flight clearance by phone with a void time. I could not locate the departure procedure on my electronic charts. Finally located it at the bottom of commercial chart -- couldn't find the intersection so took off in order to beat my void time with the intention of finding the intersection after intercepting rzs VOR 275 degree radial. I let myself get rushed before fully understanding the departure procedure. Stupid on my part. Never again!

Narrative: MY IFR CLRNC FROM IZA TO ZZZ INCLUDED AN OBSTACLE DEP PROC THAT CALLED FOR A CLB TO 6000 FT VIA RZS VOR R-275 W TO ORCUT INTXN. I INTERCEPTED RZS VOR 275 DEG RADIAL AND TURNED E TO RZS IN VMC; WHICH WAS THE FIRST INTXN IN MY FILED FLT PLAN. I RECEIVED MY FLT CLRNC BY PHONE WITH A VOID TIME. I COULD NOT LOCATE THE DEP PROC ON MY ELECTRONIC CHARTS. FINALLY LOCATED IT AT THE BOTTOM OF COMMERCIAL CHART -- COULDN'T FIND THE INTXN SO TOOK OFF IN ORDER TO BEAT MY VOID TIME WITH THE INTENTION OF FINDING THE INTXN AFTER INTERCEPTING RZS VOR 275 DEG RADIAL. I LET MYSELF GET RUSHED BEFORE FULLY UNDERSTANDING THE DEP PROC. STUPID ON MY PART. NEVER AGAIN!
