Narrative:

I was doing the walkaround; captain got the pre departure clearance; and loaded the FMC. The FMC had the TRAILR2. On departure; the controller queried us. We said we were on the TRAILR2. He said we were supposed to be on the staav. He cleared us to foldd on the staav. He said there were no conflicts; traffic problems; cleared us on course; and said no need for any reports. Modified pre departure clearance has both original route and modified route. Suggest having pre departure clearance only have what is the actual clearance on it. I should have verified the pre departure clearance after the walkaround for backup.

Narrative: I WAS DOING THE WALKAROUND; CAPT GOT THE PDC; AND LOADED THE FMC. THE FMC HAD THE TRAILR2. ON DEP; THE CTLR QUERIED US. WE SAID WE WERE ON THE TRAILR2. HE SAID WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE STAAV. HE CLEARED US TO FOLDD ON THE STAAV. HE SAID THERE WERE NO CONFLICTS; TFC PROBLEMS; CLEARED US ON COURSE; AND SAID NO NEED FOR ANY RPTS. MODIFIED PDC HAS BOTH ORIGINAL RTE AND MODIFIED RTE. SUGGEST HAVING PDC ONLY HAVE WHAT IS THE ACTUAL CLRNC ON IT. I SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED THE PDC AFTER THE WALKAROUND FOR BACKUP.
