Narrative:
On mar/xa/08; aircraft #3 tire fully worn. Unaware of difference between B737 XXX and B737 YYY; I installed XXX tire on YYY aircraft #3 tire assembly. Was replaced one afternoon in mar/08. I found out later that wrong tire was installed. The same day tire replaced with the correct one. I read maintenance bulletin on the differences. Not clear part identify.

Title: MECHANIC WORKING A B737 ACFT REPLACED A FULLY WORN #3 POSITION (RIGHT MAIN LNDG GEAR INBOARD) TIRE WITH A DIFFERENT MODEL B737 NOT APPROVED AS A REPLACEMENT TIRE.
Narrative: ON MAR/XA/08; ACFT #3 TIRE FULLY WORN. UNAWARE OF DIFFERENCE BTWN B737 XXX AND B737 YYY; I INSTALLED XXX TIRE ON YYY ACFT #3 TIRE ASSEMBLY. WAS REPLACED ONE AFTERNOON IN MAR/08. I FOUND OUT LATER THAT WRONG TIRE WAS INSTALLED. THE SAME DAY TIRE REPLACED WITH THE CORRECT ONE. I READ MAINT BULLETIN ON THE DIFFERENCES. NOT CLEAR PART IDENT.
