Narrative:

While descending through 7000 ft to 6000 ft MSL on radar vectors for the visual approach to runway 10 at ord; and at a position approximately 26 mi northwest of ord; both pilots observed a series of 5 or 6 green laser light flashes directed at the aircraft. To this pilot; the laser emanated from a neighborhood 2 mi wsw of the lake-in-the-hills airport (identify 3CK). ATC was notified; neither pilot experienced vision degradation; and the flight continued to a normal landing.
