Narrative:
While on radar services with miami center; approaching R2901E; I requested transition through R2901 as it was reported by miami center as cold. Shortly before getting to the restricted airspace (jangl); I and my passenger observed a small white drone (estimated 8 ft or so) flying opposite direction (heading 115 approximately) at about 3;500 ft off my right. I had not been warned of any traffic by ATC. Upon call up to miami; I was handed off to another sector controller who said he had a target at 1;200 ft behind me.

Narrative: While on Radar services with Miami Center; approaching R2901E; I requested transition through R2901 as it was reported by Miami Center as cold. Shortly before getting to the restricted airspace (JANGL); I and my passenger observed a small white drone (estimated 8 FT or so) flying opposite direction (heading 115 approximately) at about 3;500 FT off my right. I had not been warned of any traffic by ATC. Upon call up to Miami; I was handed off to another sector Controller who said he had a target at 1;200 FT behind me.
