Narrative:

On initial approach runway xxr in ZZZ; had nose gear unsafe for landing indication. Executed missed approach. Performed QRH procedure; and gear still indicated unsafe. Performed low approach to get tower visual confirmation of gear position. Executed missed approach. Declared an emergency with ATC. Briefed and prepared for emergency landing. Landed normally; stopped aircraft on runway and determined it was an indication error. Taxied to the gate followed by crash fire rescue equipment. Installed gear pins and deplaned passenger with no further event.
